Testing...

Ok, so this is going to be Brian Grant's Fitness Journal. I have never used blogspot (or a blog for that matter) but it looks simple enough, I can probably do this anywhere maybe from my cell phone. I normally don't keep up well with stuff like journals, especially its for fitness, but this is the start of something beautiful. A transformation of mind, body, and soul, the struggle to improve myself in all aspects of my life, I am off to a decent start, but there is so much more I can achieve as long as I can keep myself motivated, and strong.

I am using the Crossfit program, and I think it's working. No difference physically yet, but I am getting sore after workouts so its working my muscles in ways they have not been tested before, and that is always a good thing. It is relatively short and some of the exercises are tough. I am hoping from using Crossfit, I can reach a whole new level of strength and mobility that I see some of their more experienced users can achieve. I would love nothing more to be able to do pull ups like nothing and have enough balance to do handstands. So starting last week I started Crossfit. The second day I pulled my back and was out for 2 or 3 WODs. But I started again this week and I am following through pretty well. My friend Michelle and her boyfriend Will both use Crossfit, and they both look amazing, especially Will who has gotten allot bigger and stronger from the program only after a few months. So I think it should be promising for me.

My only concern is I wonder if this is the right thing for me to be doing for weight lost. I am sitting around 200-205 and I would like to be around 180-183. On my own, I have lost about 70 pounds, and I needed something to challenge me, but I fear that this is not a great solution for me to loose weight. I supposed if I can't see it on the scale, I will look in the mirror, and I see how I feel.

So, this is the beginning...
